Early Detection Matters
Many common pediatric eye conditions can be detected early and treated effectively with the right care and timely management. Regular eye exams are essential, even if your child isn’t showing obvious signs of vision problems. It's important to know any manifesting signs of vision issues.
Signs Your Child Might Have Vision Issues:
- Squinting or narrowing of the eyes
- Frequent eye rubbing or blinking
- Difficulty with distance vision
- Frequent headaches associated with blurry vision
- Crossed or misaligned eyes

- Amblyopia (Lazy Eye) Treatment: Specialized care to treat vision disorders in one eye, often using patching therapy or corrective lenses.
- Eye Injury Care: Prompt treatment for eye trauma or foreign body removal to preserve vision.
- Childhood Eye Diseases: Congenital cataract, retinopathy of prematurity, Glaucoma, other inherited eye condition.
