What are the conditions for a surgery?
To be eligible for a surgery, you should meet the following required and sufficient conditions:
- You are at least 18 years old
- Your parameters for refractive errors, corneal thickness, and corneal map must be within the permissible limits
How often should I get my eye examinations?
You should get eye checked 1 day, 1 week, and months 1, 3, 6, and 12 after your surgery.
What is the procedure before a refractive surgery?
Before the surgery, you will subject to full eye examination steps as follows:
- Vision, refraction and eye pressure measurement
- Endothelial cells count to define the corneal central strength and thickness
- Corneal typography to analyze your corneal structure
- Based on the obtained parameters, your doctor will advise you of the best treatment.
